Kamu's house and chris fixing it with duct tape
I'll never forget the day Chris looked at me and said  "God wants us to go to Tonga".  I wasn't so sure. I did some searches for mission groups all ready their before agreeing to just pack up and move.  Chris was running a construction business at the time and he wanted to use that trade to help build and fix people's homes in Tonga.  I found YWAM (youth with a mission), and a couple named Kamu and Saane who were trying to start a mission base that would help Tongans learn how to run a business and do discipleship training.  Chris called and explained God wanted him to go to Tonga and Kamu started yelling and crying because this was an answer to there prayers.

Just build here

Chris went out to Tonga in March 2009 to meet Kamu and Saana on the main island of Tongatapu and then see where the mission base would be built on the island Vava'u.  He said it was an awesome experience to be exactly where Yahweh told him to be.    And though we are going to help build a YWAM base, we are not apart of YWAM. Our calling and greatest desire is to serve and love the people of Tonga.
